Jusoor Foundation Celebrates the Graduation of 30 Participants from the Youth Capacity Building Program "San'ah" in Al Batinah North.
Today in Suhar, Al Batinah North, 30 young participant celebrated their graduation from Jusoor Foundation Programme for Youth Capacity Building "San'ah". This came under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology, and in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of Al Batinah North as well as a number of Their Excellencies walis and directors of government and private institutions in the governorate.
Jaber Sulaiman Al Busaidi, Executive Manager of Jusoor Foundation, stated that the program was implemented in line with the Oman Vision 2040, as the program aimed to create a knowledge society that is capable of innovating solutions in several fields and to create a local culture of new future disciplines.
Al Busaidi added that the program, which was funded by OQ, Sohar Aluminium, and Vale in Oman, delivered a specialized training program in 3D design and animation, targeting 30 youth participants from Al Batinah North Governorate in three batches, with a total of (80) training hours for each batch. Thus, the program achieves its objectives by qualifying the participants through intensive practical training sessions and supporting them by providing very advanced computers that enable them to continue the learning journey and start a business to earn income and create job opportunities in the market.
The ceremony included a visual presentation of the training stages experienced by the participants in the program, which combined theoretical education with practical training. At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency handed over the graduation certificates of the program to the participants.
The program participants stressed its importance in breaking new ground and helping launch pilot projects in the fields that it focuses on, like 3D design and animation. Ahmed Rashid Al Abdulsalam emphasizes that the program contributed to providing him with practical and necessary skills in 3D design through a series of educational materials received within the program. He added that it contributed to diversifying the ideas through which 3D design can be employed in future projects or job opportunities.
Maitha Abdullah Al Breiki sees that the program was highly advanced and that it contributed to increasing her motivation and moving her from the basic level to a higher level, besides deepening her understanding of the work done by 3D design programs, which can be a new window for her to find job opportunities in this field.
